A short profile

My name is Mauritz Koekemoer, and I am a Data Science & Business Analyst based in Auckland, New Zealand. I build models, analyse data, and produce the reporting that teams act on. My route here ran from software engineering and business systems into analytics, machine learning, and applied AI.

Led the data work for a BLE-based automated passenger onboarding pilot with Auckland Transport in 2025, from planning and data extraction through analysis and visualisation to the stakeholder presentations.

At Register Domain SA, delivered a range of data analysis and reporting projects on this system, giving senior management clear visibility into the business.

Domain Platform Modernisation

Helped deliver a scalable multi-tenant domain platform at Register Domain SA, contributing the data and analysis that guided the build. It reduced downtime and supported millions of secure transactions each year.
